We are pleased to announce that the conference materials for the 38th ECMS International Conference on Modelling and Simulation are now available. This year’s proceedings, titled “Communications of the ECMS, Volume 38, Issue 1, June 2024,” feature an exciting collection of 79 peer-reviewed papers, highlighting the latest advancements in computational and simulation methods across engineering, economic, and industrial domains.
The conference, held from June 4th to June 7th, 2024, in Cracow, Poland, was organized by the European Council for Modelling and Simulation (ECMS) and hosted by the Cracow University of Technology and its esteemed Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications. This year’s event also commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Faculty and honors the rich tradition of the Cracow University of Technology, which has been fostering modern education methods and innovative research for nearly 80 years.
The materials include insightful papers, keynotes, and presentations from vibrant, young, and enthusiastic scientists, emphasizing the growing role of digital technologies in scientific progress and their impact on socio-economic aspects of life. Special talks were delivered by world-renowned scholars, Prof. Stanisław Drożdż on “Complex systems approach to natural language,” and Prof. Vilém Novák on “Formal theory of quantifiers in natural language and their syllogisms.”
